Chuck Knapp

Chuck Knapp came to KMST in December of 1985, after a four-year stint in the Navy and eight years working as an engineer at a Champaign IL, commercial radio station.   He has the sometimes mountainous task of melding the old with the new; digital computer technology with audio equipment that has long been old enough to vote!  His job is varied and interesting, from installing and maintaining all of KMST’s audio equipment, keeping our transmitter on the air, (even during Missouri ice storms!) recording guests and coaching the staff during investment drives, to the volumes of paperwork the FCC requires to ensure that we are in compliance with their regulations.

Chuck loves the outdoors, and can often be found fishing, camping, or just enjoying being outside.
