Chuck purchases, installs and maintains all broadcasting equipment for KMST’s studio facility in Rolla, the main transmission facility in Lecoma, Missouri and the translator facility in Lebanon, Missouri. He is on call 24/7/365 for any and all technical emergencies.

Chuck grew up and attended college in Champaign, Illinois. He spent four years as an avionics technician in the United States Navy, travelling to such exotic locations as Iceland, Sicily and the Azores. Chuck then spent eight years as Assistant Chief Engineer at WDWS Radio in Champaign, Illinois. His favorite duties while there included travelling with the sports broadcast team to originate the broadcasts of the University of Illinois Sports Radio Network….go Illini!!

In 1985 Chuck accepted a position as Chief Engineer at KMST (then KUMR) and remains in that  position today. Chuck lives with his better half, Paula Crews, 5 dogs and 3 cats. Hobbies include his dogs, sports, fishing, music and DIY home improvement projects.
